In the event of a Mental Health Emergency

MPower Mental Health Ltd is not a provider of Emergency or Urgent care services for Mental Health.

In the event that you or someone else is concerned about a sudden change in or ongoing deterioration in someone's mental health, including the onset of thoughts of self-harm or suicide, you are advised to follow the following guidance:

In the event of mental health emergency, or if you or someone you care for is in a life-threatening situation or you cannot keep yourself safe, you are advised to access NHS urgent care services via GP/NHS Direct (111) or by contacting your local mental health Intensive/Crisis/Home Treatment teams.

If needed, attend your local A&E. If you cannot get there safely call 999.

If you are, or someone you know is, currently under the care of the local Mental Health Intensive/Crisis/Home Treatment team, you are advised to make contact with them in the first instance.
